Microsoft Research is probably as at the edge of technology as you can get. Of course that doesn’t always translate to end consumer products. but the division is by far the best research division in the world of consumer technology.

Awesome… I always though Microsoft Research was a couple of guys looking over Steve Jobs’ fence. Nice to see they’re making something rather than buying it in or copying it.
