well put Seth. I agree that a desktop OS like Windows 7 isn’t meant for that form factor, maybe a version of the new Windows Phone 7 Series OS would suit better.

iPad specs have been released, ever since the product announcement. Anyways, it almost always has been true that the lesser product boasts a longer spec sheet. In the end, the best feature is usability, which Apple has a track record in excelling in. To quote the legendary tech analyst Walt Mossenberg, “It’s all about the software stupid!” The iPhone OS is the best UI for a touch product on the market today, and Apple made the right choice in adapting it to the iPad. Windows 7 is not built for a touch device, and according to Ballmer, they won’t make any changes to adapt it. Plus, a desktop OS makes the tablet clunky and slow. Have you seen the Archos demos? An embarrassment, if you ask me.

Hahaha… iPad is going to be the total flop… Archos 9 trumps the iPad in every feature… the iPad specs and what not have been released the public… 720 p and only 30 fps… going to be using the OS from the iPhone/iTouch instead of OSX which is just a horrid mistake… no flash what so ever… Archos 9 had windows 7 1080p… almost 60fps… 500 and has 64g with wifi… iPad 64g with wifi and 3g is going to be over 800$… I wouldn’t waste my time on the iPad… that Notions Ink has perked my intrest….
