Sometimes Microsoft-ies Act Dumb!

Seriously! You know people like Sharon Cohen should be barred from making any public appearances on behalf of Microsoft. Here is what pisses me off, Channel 9 has a new video on IE 8 Search, apparently the search box has “ipod” as search query! I mean WTFF! You are a Microsoft employee. You are demoing a Microsoft product. You are doing the demo for a Microsoft website. Your perspective viewers are Microsoft enthusiasts. And you tell them to search for iPod? Geez!

    even funnier, zune actualy shows a feature that the demo didnt… it has images in the search suggestion box… which is a pretty big thing if you ask me. sigh, dumasses.

    but i guess they want to show they are a friendly company, at thier mobile confrence for windows mobile 6.5, they said that they allow thier partners to preinstall opera on the cellphones because they like giving people freedom.

    @ANi from the looks of it, I don’t think many. :P

    @mynk Win Mo 6.5 is quite promising, a much-needed upgrade to 6.

    Hey come on.. is their any kind of contract signed by Microsoft employees that bars them from talking about Apple products? He is a free man.. he can search anything :D

    Its all about branding. 1 can use whatever they want to but when ur doing something for ur company u don’t promote a rival product. U’re telling people to search for a product by your competitor does that even make sense?!
