Here is an update to my previous post on the resources that you can use on Vista to emulate Windows 7.
1. Windows 7 Build 6956 Boot Screen
To apply the boot screen, you will need TuneUp Utilities. To change the boot screen:
TuneUp Utilities –> Tune Up Styler –> Under Interface “Boot Screen”

It seems that the original dev has pulled it off from his Deviantart profile page. I have replaced the link & have contacted the app creator.

Hmm….it appears the Wordpad 2009 link works now. But you need to use Windows/MSN ID to login to get it! Me thinks..

The Tuneup Utilities is only a trial, what happens when it runs out, will my boot screen change or if not, can i change it back, thx

The change will stay, not really sure but I guess some features in Tune Up still work after trial expires, you revert back to the original by using any other screen changer utility (like this) or even re-install Tune Up.
