Firefox certainly seems to be the most popular at present but there are many users who still prefer IE7 Opera and Safari too. Safari an Apple product somehow never became very popular among windows users though I believe Mac users prefer it. Well the release of Chrome has certainly been a quiet affair and yet plenty of people have become aware of its existence in a short span of time but it is quite likely that Chrome will be just another web browser to join Firefox, IE7, Opera and Safari. Man, the marketing/advertising/publicity world needs to learn a thing or two from Google- No advertising (of their own products)- and yet, unimaginable publicity. Everyone knew about MobileMe. Everyone knew about MacBook Air. Everyone knows about iTunes 8. There was a time when I didn't trust rumours. But now most of them (the realistic ones at least) turn out to be true. I remember people talking about gbrowser back in the firefox days. Chrome did take everyone by surprise.
