Hehehe… This reminds me: Our HoD was a big effing jerk, who went handicapped at power cuts, coz the computer and projector don’t work without electricity. He couldn’t teach a damn thing without the ppt slides (that is, if reading out stuff from the slides and repeating them with some word substitutions qualified as teaching). I doubt the fact whether he himself had any damn clue of what he was (supposedly) teaching. Aah well, at least we had all the free time for fun at the power outages.

The HoD is a big accident. How he became the HoD is a mystery whose answer maybe we’ll never know. Any sane student who sat in his lecture would ask on what qualification did he become the Head of Department. The jerk is totally incompetent to teach. I can only warn my juniors about the moron and suggest the tricks of passing time during his lectures.

Anyways, nice to see you here. KT is short for ATKT which short for ‘Allowed To Keep Terms”

40 marks is the minimum required to clear a subject here in engg. So if you get less than 40 in 4 subjects or less in a particular year (2 semesters), you are Allowed to Keep Terms and go into the next year. But, if you get less than 40 in more than 4 subjects then you are not allowed to go into the next year and get a year drop. Sit relax & clear the back log. Start afresh.

Maybe for the US viewers, if you can explain what “KT” means?

But we also have professors like that here, it is a part of college life + work atmosphere too unless you or immediate family own a business and become immediate boss after graduation…

My poor eye sight doesnt allow me to sit more far and people like it when my tall ( and broad ) posture blocks the ones behind from being spotted (when they are asleep )

but dude, that professor seems like a bad guy
